Litul 'citement!

I want to share a little news here from the good ol' Bluegrass State of Kentucky. Here is a very condensed version:

My niece and her husband went with a bunch of workers in a very nearby town this past weekend. They went out on the streets of downtown Ashland in the night time and pulled a horse trough full of water on a trailer behind a Jeep. By the time the weekend was over, they had baptized 40 people in Jesus' Name and 110 people received the Holy Ghost. This was happening right out on the… Continue

What You Lookin' At?

It is amazing how two people can look at the same thing and both see something different. Look at the two pictures below and tell me what you see? Now look again, maybe study for a minute.

In the one to the right: do you see the old man with a mustache and hat? What about the Continue

Wake up America.........

Wining a Nobel PeacePrize.......................

Alfred Bernhard Nobel lived from 1833–96, he was a Swedish engineer, manufacturer, and philanthropist.

If there was ever a legitimacy to the award named in his remembrance there no longer is.

It was recently awarded to the President of the United States Barrack Hussein Obama. His qualifications include having lived in a couple different countries as a child, a college graduate and a "community organizer" in poor neighborhoods.

Having all… Continue

To Make A Difference, We Must Be Different

In the market place, everything is about being different. Automakers advertise the different features that make their cares distinctly different from the competitors. Clothing designers have a distinguishing style that makes each of them different. Sports teams wear different uniforms to set them apart from the other team.

In personal lives, most people want to be different. In discussions we speak of our achievements, degrees, awards and dreams, all in an attempt to set us apart as different f… Continue

It's time to "GIVE UP!"

Sometimes the hardest thing in life is just giving up. No, not that kind of giving up-there’s no place for quitters in God’s army. We have to be like Paul and press daily. Philippians 3:14-I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus .The giving up I’m talking about is giving up our will for His. Realizing we are not in control and shouldn’t want to be in control. God was God way before we were even a twinkle in our earthly father’s eye. So why can’t the God w… Continue

The Network

This Network exists for three primary purposes: 1) to connect like-minded apostolic brethren; 2) to announce meetings and gatherings; 3) and to enable believers to locate local assemblies committed to the themes described on the website GloriousChurch.com.

To locate an assembly, click the Assemblies tab at the top of this page and search by the name of your city or one near by. Each local assembly has expressed a firm commitment to the principles of this Network. We are not, however, in a position offer any unqualified endorsements. To assist you in selecting an assembly, please see our Criteria for Evaluating an Assembly.pdf.

To become a Member on this site, you must affirm your commitment to our Five Pillars of Fellowship and our Core Values. Please read Description and Policies of the Network.pdf. Then click the My Page tab to apply.

Definitions

The term "elder" has a definitive meaning within the context of the New Testament church, where it refers exclusively to men who are biblically qualified and appointed as members of the pastoral team of a local assembly (Acts 14:23; Acts 20:17, 28). Unfortunately, in the church jargon of today, the term "elder" is often used to describe someone who serves on a church board or in some kind of position under the authority of a single pastor. In such cases, this is NOT a biblically accurate use
